A house shot up in flames early this morning in Washington Court House.
Firefighters responded to 451 Broadway Street on a report of flames showing from a house.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found heavy smoke and flames shooting from the residence.
Firefighters called for mutual aid to assist in extinguishing the blaze.
“It happened about 8:20 a.m. There’s a bus stop two doors down from there and the pick up is at 8:16, and there were no flames,” said neighbor Beth VanDyke-McCane. “Within those few minutes, the whole front was engulfed.”
It’s unknown if there were any injuries as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately released.
