A Washington Court House man was arrested on Wednesday after his daughter dialed 9-1-1 claiming he shattered glass over an infant’s head.
According to a report, Washington Court House police responded to 360 South Glenn Avenue.
Upon their arrival, officers located a large amount of broken glass on the floor, on a nearby table, and bits of glass on a small infant child.
Further investigation showed that a 46-year-old male lost his temper and slammed a glass down on a coffee table causing it to shatter.
The action created a substantial risk to the health of a small child who lives at the house, read the report.
The infant was transported to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital by E.M.S.
The grandfather was charged with child endangerment.
