A semi trailer full of lingerie was stolen in Jeffersonville last week.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Vernon P. Stanforth, shortly before midnight on Thursday, deputies responded to Love’s Truck Stop after a semi truck driver discovered his rig had been stolen.
The driver had just finished filling up his truck with fuel and was inside the store paying for it when his rig was stolen.
Inside his trailer was over $50,000 worth of woman’s lingerie.
Stanforth said that the criminals who stole the tractor trailer likely knew what was inside and may be part of a theft ring.
The tractor was located in Xenia several hours later but the trailer is still missing.
Deputies are looking for a trailer with Tennessee license plate U349363.
