Britni Shey Mess
A runaway Greenfield teen that was listed as an endangered runaway by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office has been located.
Britni Mess was located in the Indianapolis area on Friday following an investigation by the police department, BCI Missing Persons Unit, Indianapolis Metro Police, and the Indiana State Police.
According to the AG’s website, www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov, Mess had been missing since Dec. 27, 2012 from the Greenfield area.
“Britni was last seen wearing a black coat with fur around the hood and a zebra print purse with red trim,” the AG’s office said.
According to Greenfield Police Chief Tim Hester, Mess was located Friday afternoon in Indianapolis, Indiana by detectives with the elite BCI Missing Persons unit, Greenfield Police Department, and Marion County Indiana Sheriff John Layton.
She is reportedly unharmed and was found with an adult male.
Greenfield Police will travel to Indiana to pick-up Mess and return her to Ohio today.
No other details are being released at this time.
