Miami Trace
It’s that time of year again when little tots venture out to get their first taste of education.
Children who will have turned five years old by August 1, 2013 and wish to attend kindergarten in the Miami Trace Local School District must be registered for kindergarten at Miami Trace Elementary School.
During the week of April 22-26 district personnel will be registering kindergarten students. Parents and guardians may stop by the elementary school office any time from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to register prospective students.
The building is offering extended hours on April 23 and 25 to register students in the main office until 7:00 p.m. Children entering kindergarten do not need to be present for the registration process.
Upon registering the student, the parent/guardian will be assigned a time to return to Miami Trace Elementary School with the child for Kindergarten Round-up on May 9. Students will be screened on May 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
