Crews responded to a fire at a Washington Court House nursing home on Thursday afternoon.
According to fire officials, a fire sparked at the Carlton Manor Nursing Home, located at 726 Rawlings St., shortly after 3 p.m. in a third floor bedroom.
At least two people were transported to the emergency room for unknown injuries.
Residents were evacuated from the third floor and some were taken across the street to Wintersong Village.
Kitchen staff told Fayette Advocate that the gas lines were shutdown.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal was on scene and was investigating.
