Fayette Advocate Editor-in-chief Derek Myers announced the launch of a mobile-friendly website.

Fayette Advocate Editor-in-chief Derek Myers announced the launch of a mobile-friendly website.

In today’s world of immediacy and convenience, no one wants to jump around from webpage to webpage for information they’re looking for. Time is everything and if we can eliminate a few finger “swishes” or “clicks” while browsing on our phones, we’re happy.

Fayette Advocate has figured this out by creating a solution for our readers. The launch of our brand new mobile site is the one-stop-tool for getting all the daily information and news on the go in one spot.

“Serving a mobile-optimized experience for a wide range of devices like iPhones, Android Phones and BlackBerrys, our mobile web portal gives readers all sorts of news updates,” said Editor-in-chief Derek Myers.

“Whether its local, state, obituaries, or more, Fayette Advocate brings it all to your mobile device; you can even browse our classifieds.”

Building Fayette Advocate‘s mobile website was a great challenge, but it was one that was determined to be overcame to better assist our readers in their desire to get up-to-date information as quickly as possible.

“If they wish, mobile users will have the ability to view our full website — known as the desktop version — from their phones by scrolling to the bottom of the website and clicking ‘mobile theme off,’” said Myers.

Check out our mobile friendly website on your phone, today!
